CVWC GENERAL MEETING, JANUARY 14TH AT 10:00 AM AT ST. JOHN'S EPISCOPAL CHURCH, REFRESHMENTS AND COFFEE AT 9:30.
Guest speaker Sarah Sundin will be presenting her talk, "Rosie the Riveter and Friends- Lessons from the 1940's Woman".Her most current series, Sunrise at Normandy includes The Sea Before Us, which received the 2019 FHL Readers Choice Award, When Tides Turn and Through Waters Deep were named to Booklist's "101 Best Romance Novels of the Last 10 Years", and Through Waters Deep was a finalist for the 2016 Carol Award and won the INSPY Award. Sarah lives in Antioch, teaches Sunday school and women's Bible studies.
Her books will be available for purchase for ranging fomr $9 -$16 after the meeting.
BOOK CLUB I
Book Club #1 will meet at Sheila Driscoll's house on Wednesday, January 15th at 10:00am. The book to be reviewed is "A Dictionary of Mutual Understanding by Jackie Copleton. will Any questions call Jane Peterson at 672-0915. All are welcome.
BOOK CLUB II
The Tuesday Book Group will meet at Nancy Domingo's home at 11:00am on Tuesday, January 21st to discuss State of Wonder by Ann Patchett. Bring a sack lunch; hostess provides drinks and dessert.
